Submitting a Final Version of your Abstract

Authors of accepted abstracts (for oral or poster presentation) should submit a final version of their abstract. These should take into account the comments made by the reviewers as closely as possible. They should also comply with the following formatting rules.

Each abstract should not exceed two A4 size pages including tables, figures, and references. It should also be longer than one page, so as to give a nontrivial description of the work presented. If you are using MS Word, please use this template, otherwise please format your abstract to look like this. Abstracts should also contain full contact details (physical and email address, phone and fax number) of the corresponding author. Abstracts should be submitted in electronic form as pdf files. Submission should be emailed to ecemeaml@ijs.si. The email message with the submission should have 'CR Abstract Submission' in the subject line and the abstract in pdf form as an attachment. Please use a filename of the form FamilynameFirstname.pdf.

Please check that the pdf file with the abstract can be printed correctly before you submit it. In particular, please verify that your pdf file does not contain Korean/Chinese/Japanese fonts. Instructions on how to do this can be found at http://borbala.com/faq/asian.html.

The final versions of abstracts should be submitted by June 15, 2004 in order to be included in the final program. At least one author should register before June 30 and give presentation at the conference.

Formatting Poster Presentations

Authors of contributions accepted for poster presentations can design their poster presentations freely within dimensions: 1,00m(0,95m - width) x 2,00m(1,90m - height).

Submitting a Full Version of your Paper

Authors of accepted abstracts (for oral or poster presentation) are invited to submit full versions of their papers. These will be reviewed separately by members of the international program committee for inclusion in a special issue of the journal Ecological Modelling and/or an edited book.

Full papers should not be longer than 24 A4 size pages including tables, figures, and references. Tables and figures should be placed in the text where appropriate, and not at the end of the paper. Papers should have 2.5cm (1inch) margins, use a 12pt font and double spacing. Papers should also contain full contact details (physical and email address, phone and fax number) of the corresponding author. Full papers should be submitted in electronic form as pdf files. Submissions should be emailed to ecemeaml@ijs.si. The email message with the submission should have 'Full Paper Submission' in the subject line and the paper in pdf form as an attachment. Please use a filename of the form FamilynameFirstname.pdf.
