• ILPnet2 News

  • ILPnet2 has now officially been extended for another year until 31 August, 2002, but we should start preparing a proposal for a successor network (this should be submitted no later than 15 June, 2002). The current co-ordinators (Saso Dzeroski and Peter Flach) will not be available to co-ordinate the new proposal but of course we are prepared to give some guidance and advice. Anybody who is interested in participating in the preparation of such a proposal should get in touch with Saso or Peter as soon as possible.

  • The ILPnet2 on-line library has recently received its 1,000th submission (by Bernard Zenko, Jozef Stefan Institute). Recent additions include the ILP'01 proceedings and work-in-progress track, and all chapters from the new Relational Data Mining book edited by Saso Dzeroski and Nada Lavrac (Springer-Verlag, 2001).

  • We welcome the Universities of Bari, Bologna and Ferrara as new associate nodes of ILPnet2, and Kiminkii as a new member of the end-user club.
