Numeric Attribute Discretization

• Need to discretize numeric-valued attributes.
• Traditional approach is to select a single cut point in the range.
• Have good method to find subranges
• multi-variate discretization ( f(X) < t )

    Attribute A with values  in the range [12, 200]
